LEARN TO SKATE
Our Mission
“Serving the developmental needs of area youth through an organized hockey program that promotes sportsmanship and team concepts of the game of hockey."
"Our philosophy is to promote growth and development of youth players in a fun, fair, and safe environment maximizing player participation and skill development at all levels while also developing sportsmanship, teamwork, and self- confidence. We believe participation in organized youth hockey should lead to the building of personal self-esteem, self-discipline, social skills, and respect for others. As such, we are committed to evaluating our programs, on an ongoing basis, ensuring that we serve our memberships' needs, developing our players at all skill levels, and providing a positive experience for our youth."
Unlike the “RINK” or “ARENA” owned programs –We are a “ PROGRAM” with a FUN with your FRIENDS” approach. Our players get to “PLAY with the neighborhood kids!”

The LITTLE Mite Division Program
Boys & Girls Ages 6 to 8 year old
In concert with USA Hockey, AAU Ice Hockey, and NH Amateur Hockey, we have developed a program for this age group emphasizing skill building in the basics of skating, stick handling, passing, shooting, and team play. We teach these skills in small groups. We’ll even play games in small groups! By doing this, each player receives proper instruction on a more individualized basis! We begin with smaller teams of 8 – 9 players, playing approximately One time a week! We separate our teams into six on-ice stations with each station’s focus on a particular skill set. Players are less likely to be watching a skill than doing them!! Then we play small games to reinforce these skills learned. Our Home
Ice is at the Veterans Memorial Rink (Haverhill High School rink on Friday nights at 6:00PM. Small teams of 8- 9 players are formed during the CROSS-ICE sessions.
